Treatment Modalities

At Dellers Psychology, I use a range of evidence-based therapeutic approaches, tailored to each client’s unique needs. The approaches I draw on are outlined below:

Each person’s treatment plan is individualised, often combining different modalities (which is called an “eclectic approach”) depending on their areas of need. For example, OCD is commonly treated with exposure and response prevention (ERP) alongside CBT or ACT, mood or anxiety disorders may benefit from CBT, ACT, or mindfulness, and relationship difficulties may be addressed with EFT, Schema Therapy, or DBT. This flexible approach ensures that therapy is tailored to your unique needs and goals.


Therapy Process

All sessions are around 50 minutes in length and are offered either in-person in Surry Hills, Sydney, or via Telehealth Australia-wide, allowing you to attend from the comfort and privacy of your own home. All information shared in sessions is kept strictly confidential and private, except in circumstances where there is a risk of harm to yourself or others, or as required by law.

During your first session, we will:

  1. Understand your concerns, goals, and relevant history.

  2. Explore how therapy can support your specific needs.

  3. Begin developing a tailored plan to guide your progress.

Ongoing sessions focus on:

  • Practical strategies to manage challenges.

  • Insight into patterns of thought, behaviour, and emotion.

  • Building skills for emotional regulation, resilience, and personal growth.

  • Supporting values-based decision-making and positive life changes.
