Fees & Rebates

A standard 50-minute session with Dellers Psychology is $280. This fee is set below the Australian Psychological Society’s recommended fee of $318 in an effort to keep costs as low as possible while ensuring the practice can continue offering reliable, high-quality care.

If you have a valid Mental Health Treatment Plan from your GP, you may be eligible for a Medicare rebate of $145.25, reducing your out-of-pocket cost to $134.75 per session. Dellers Psychology does not offer bulk-billing.

Private health insurance rebates may also apply, depending on your provider.

Payment and Cancellation Policy

To make the payment process simple and secure, credit card details are collected at intake and stored securely. Your card will be charged on the day, after your appointment, and Medicare rebates (if applicable) will be processed at the same time. Medicare rebates usually arrive in your bank account within 24 hours.

Your appointment time is reserved especially for you, and late changes make it difficult to offer the slot to other clients who may be waiting. If you need to reschedule or cancel, this can easily be managed through the online client portal. To avoid cancellation fees, please provide notice at least 48 hours before your scheduled appointment. Cancellation fees are structured as follows:

• 48+ hours notice: no cancellation fee

• 24–48 hours notice: 50% of the session fee

• Less than 24 hours notice or missed appointments: full session fee (unless the appointment can be filled by another client)

Please note that Medicare rebates are not applicable for cancellation fees.
