  • No, you don’t need a referral, you’re welcome to book an appointment directly. However, if you’d like to access Medicare rebates, you’ll need a referral and a Mental Health Treatment Plan from your GP or psychiatrist. This can make your sessions more affordable, as Medicare will cover part of the session fee. For more information read more here.

This rebate is available for up to 10 individual sessions per calendar year under the Better Access Initiative. Dellers Psychology does not offer bulk-billing.

After each session you will receive an invoice by email that you can submit to your private health fund for rebates, if applicable. Please contact your private health insurer prior to attending therapy to check if you are eligible for rebates on mental health services.

    • Less than 24 hours / same-day cancellations or no-shows: full session fee, unless the appointment can be filled by another client.
