Other Areas of Support

Clinical psychology therapy in Sydney and Australia-wide

In addition to my primary areas of clinical focus — OCD, anxiety disorders, eating disorders, and LGBTQ+ psychology — I provide clinical psychology therapy for a range of other mental health concerns and life challenges. Sessions are offered in-person in Surry Hills, Sydney, and Australia-wide via Telehealth.

Mood Disorders

Depression, low mood, and stress-related difficulties can involve persistent sadness, fatigue, low motivation, and loss of interest in daily activities. Therapy helps identify unhelpful patterns, improve mood, increase engagement in valued activities, and build coping skills. CBT, ACT, mindfulness-based approaches, and Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT) are commonly used.

Perfectionism and Self-Esteem

Unhelpful perfectionism and self-esteem concerns involve excessive self-criticism, unrealistically high standards, and low confidence. Therapy builds realistic expectations, self-compassion, and challenges unhelpful beliefs. CBT, ACT, and Schema Therapy are effective approaches.

Relationship Difficulties

Interpersonal difficulties — including conflict, communication problems, or social isolation — can be addressed by building interpersonal skills, resolving conflict, and strengthening connections. Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Schema Therapy, and DBT are particularly helpful.

Emotion Regulation Difficulties

Difficulties managing intense or fluctuating emotions, often leading to impulsive behaviours or distress, can be addressed through skills-based approaches. Therapy teaches strategies to recognise, understand, and manage emotions more effectively. EFT, DBT, and mindfulness-based approaches are especially useful.

Life Transitions and Adjustment

Major life changes — career shifts, relationship changes, relocation, or identity transitions — can be stressful and disorienting. Therapy supports adaptation, helps manage uncertainty, and strengthens resilience. ACT, CBT, and Solution-Focused Therapy are commonly used.
